2011 05 12_0109_edited-3This 1, 2, or 3-day training is about how to design and implement, in your own classroom, a truly successful behavior management and intervention plan, for any student with difficult behaviors.

We will learn how to manage the behaviors on a daily basis, and to eliminate them over time.

Participants will learn how to:

  • focus on the behavior that most impacts the student’s success
  • identify the factors that are causing the behavior
  • design a behavior management plan to be implemented immediately
  • organize all adults in the classroom to respond to the behavior consistently
  • design an intervention plan for long-term behavior change that includes:
    • teaching missing skills that are precipitating the behavior
    • providing differentiation in instruction that responds to the student’s specific skill deficits
    • identifying resources in the building that can also help the student
