Elementary Assessment
Available as a Workshop and/or Consulting by Joyce Butler, Ed.D.
Preassessment, as a part of unit design, provides the teacher with specific information about who has mastered the skills being taught as well as who requires more time on learning. The focus made possible by preassessment makes the most of time and effort in the classroom. Participants will explore and learn about the process of preassessment as a valuable tool in the learning process. Teachers will also have the opportunity to expand their repertoire with regard to performance-based assessment.
