Available as a Scientist-in-Residence by Dick Bothmer
The world’s coral reefs are poised on the edge of extinction. They have little ability to withstand ecological insults. Learn about these wonderful, fragile ecosystems.
What is a Scientist-in-Residence?
A Scientist-in-Residence is a scientist who comes to your school and works directly with students for a day or longer. Residencies are available throughout the entire school year for 5th – 12th grades. The usual residency consists of Mr. Bothmer working with three or four classes and conducting a seminar for special interest groups or individuals. Class sessions will last for approximately one hour each (this format is flexible and can be designed to meet your particular needs).
